Have you ever wondered why most people are found attractive by their partner even though others consider them to be rude? Well, the reason is, they know how to be romantic which is something every relationship desires.

Our day to day couples reveal that small acts of affection between couples can help strengthen the relationship. Actions like giving a partner a tight hug, a kiss, or even an unexpected gift can mean as much as sex. It is all about living your own life and experiencing the ups and downs of your partner’s life as well as helping each other through life.

The 5 ways to consider which propels Irresistibility in relationships are;

1. Communication

Communication in a relationship is very different from communication in the business world. Communication in the business world is straight without the use of flirtatious gestures. But a romantic relationship requires you to become soft when speaking to your partner.  It does not mean weakness, rather it is a show of affection and tenderness.

Also, learn to talk about almost everything with your spouse including his/her annoying habits which you do not find comforting. Talking about everything helps to seal loopholes, I mean, things that should have caused issues will be solved if communication is not delayed.

However, in communicating with your spouse you must consider the following;

  • Time and manner of approach

Not every moment is a good moment, study your partner, understand his/her best moments, it could be in the morning, afternoon during break at work or even at midnight. Understand what time is suitable for either a request, a suggestion or a caution.

  • Environment

The places at which you talk about certain issues matters a lot to some people. Bringing up an existing argument in a public place such as a cinema, church or even a birthday party becomes a turn off for some people. You must ensure that you have the right environment to bring up the right conversation.

2. Life’s purpose

Everybody wants to be understood in their dreams and plans. It will be unkind to be in a relationship where your purpose of working is not understood by your partner, it brings low drives to achievement and as such, makes a person consistently angry.

Purpose is what makes a person attend to work every day, it is what makes a person eager to rise up early and do some work he/she would not have done if there was no reason to work. So purpose is important and for a relationship to excel, one must understand the purpose of the other.

Your purpose could be anything such;

  • Financial stability
  • Ensuring that your children do not suffer what you suffered
  • To help the orphans
  • To upgrade your educational qualification which requires yourself to finance it.
  • To become the most influential person in the world of business
  • To rule over offices of authority with your influence. Etc.

Anything that serves as a purpose must be considered important and when both parties in a relationship treat each other’s purpose with importance it gives peace and so much adoration of strength in the relationship. It is not easy to run the relationship and attend to one’s purpose with so much ease, it requires agreement and understanding from both parties.

3. Love languages

Love language could be anything that pleases your spouse. Something that when you do, it makes your partner to be extremely glad and respectful as well as builds deep affection towards you. According to Gary Chapman in his book ‘The five love languages’, it shows that different persons with their different personalities are what explains their love language.

love language

The love languages which are proven by renowned writers are;

  • Words of affirmation
  • Receiving quality gifts
  • Acts of service
  • Quality time
  • Physical touch.

Here is a great article on everything you need to know about the five love languages

A close observation of couples have shown that almost everyone has a love language and when well understood it makes a person romantic in his/her partner’s eyes. To love someone is easy if you understand their love language. Life is easy too if you study people inwardly.

Encouragements, giving, spending time and even hugs are ways of showing that you understand and support your partner. Study which one is your partner’s language and apply it but not too often. Excessive use of it can be choking.

4. Finance

Do not be deceived, money is a romantic tool. With money you can satisfy the love language of your spouse especially if his/her language is giving quality gifts or even acts of service.

There are some services you cannot provide if you do not have money. Services such as;

  • Road trip
  • Skiing
  • Karaoke
  • Jazz night out etc.

I do not mean you should be extorting but have a zeal to make more money and enjoy your relationship. Think of different ways to increase your financial status. Money solves some annoying habits in relationships and increasing it makes you mature to handle these habits when they occur.

5. Romantic Flirt

What I mean by flirt is this, be open, touch, wink, gaze and make arousing approaches at your partner. Flirting makes the relationship fun and not boring like the usual relationship our grandparents had. It becomes very sweet when your partner pops out and tap your butts unexpectedly.

flirting

These are little things but when they lack in the relationship, boredom sets in and when boredom sets in, there is a tendency that the presence of your partner may be annoying therefore, spending time together might not be as thrilling as before. Flirting with your partner increases the lifespan of your relationship.

smooching

Imagine what would have happened if in our current society we cannot kiss or hug our partner in public? Trust me, we would have made no difference from what our grandparents had. So be open, flirt with your partner, it creates curiosity mixed with desires.

Conclusion

One must understand that romance is not all sex but all value. To be romantic means adding more values to your partner’s life and bringing to light your own irresistible charms in terms of love, wealth and life in general.

Nigerian music industry is mourning the loss of one of its cultural giants. Alhaji Ismaila Dele Bello, popularly known as Ahuja Bello, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at the age of 83. His son, Adetunji Bello, confirmed the sad news, revealing that the juju legend died peacefully in his sleep—just a day after celebrating his birthday. For many Nigerians, especially those who lived through the golden era of the 1970s and 1980s, the name Ahuja Bello evokes nostalgia. His music was the sound of celebration, a rhythm that echoed at weddings, naming ceremonies, and late-night parties. His passing is not only a personal loss for his family but also a cultural one for Nigeria’s rich musical heritage. Born on August 24, 1942, in Iseyin, Oyo State, Ahuja Bello was destined for music. Juju, a genre deeply rooted in Yoruba tradition, became the canvas on which he painted his artistry. Unlike many who treated music as a side hustle, Bello embraced it as a calling. By the mid-1970s, Bello had carved a niche for himself with his energetic stage performances, rich guitar work, and soulful lyrics. He was not just a performer; he was an experience. Fans adored his ability to connect with the crowd, blending traditional Yoruba rhythms with modern influences that kept his sound refreshing and timeless. Yet, Ahuja Bello held his ground, building a loyal following that admired his originality and charisma. His concerts were more than entertainment—they were community gatherings. Every strum of his guitar carried messages of joy, resilience, and cultural pride. For many families, his songs became the soundtrack of their most memorable life events. One of the highlights of his career was his encounter with reggae icon Bob Marley during a trip to London. Though brief, this meeting symbolized the global relevance of Nigerian music long before the Afrobeats wave. Bello’s artistry showed that African sounds had the power to resonate beyond borders. Tragedy struck in 1982, when Ahuja Bello was involved in a serious accident. At the time, he was at the height of his career, commanding large crowds and dominating the juju scene. The accident slowed his performances and significantly altered his musical journey. For many musicians, such a setback might have marked the end. But Bello’s earlier contributions had already etched his name into Nigerian music history. Even though his stage appearances became limited, his influence continued. His recordings lived on, and his legacy inspired younger artists who admired his dedication to the craft. The death of Ahuja Bello is not just the passing of a man—it is the closing of a chapter in Nigeria’s musical story. His life represents an era when juju music carried social messages, celebrated culture, and served as a unifying force for communities. For older generations, Bello’s passing feels deeply personal. His music was woven into everyday life, from radio airwaves to live performances at social gatherings. For younger Nigerians, his story is a reminder of the roots of contemporary Nigerian music, proving that today’s Afrobeats giants stand on the shoulders of pioneers like him. As tributes pour in, fans, fellow musicians, and cultural associations describe Bello as a cultural custodian who never lost sight of his Yoruba identity. His songs celebrated resilience and tradition, ensuring that juju music remained relevant through the decades. Even in death, Bello’s music continues to breathe life into celebrations. His legacy shows that while people may pass, music remains immortal. Every strum of a juju guitar, every drumbeat at a Yoruba gathering, and every nostalgic radio replay will continue to carry Ahuja Bello’s spirit. The passing of Ahuja Bello at 83 is both a moment of mourning and a celebration of a life well lived. From Iseyin to international stages, from local dance halls to cultural milestones, Bello gave Nigerians more than music—he gave them memories. Though his journey was interrupted by tragedy, his impact remains unshaken. His career serves as a reminder that legacy is not measured by longevity alone but by the footprints left on culture. As Nigeria reflects on his contributions, one truth becomes clear: Ahuja Bello may have taken his final bow, but the music never ends. Rest in peace, Ahuja Bello. The juju lives on.
