Fashion and styleHave you ever wondered the future of fashion and its new direction, the moment all these are pronounced over? As a fashion enthusiast, have you wondered what it would be to have like in the first wave, post-COVID? Well, the good news is that you are not alone.

It appears that this pandemic would usher in an entirely new era, where the world would welcome quite a number of changes as required to fit into the new system of function. The fashion industry would not be the exception and for those who super observant, you would notice a few changes already being done.

Before now, we saw a slingback of vintage wears, taking over most trends, including hairstyles. A lot of ladies went under the scissors and redefined their statement with natural hair. It almost felt like we were living the past fashion life, with a few modifications. covid fashion

With every new comes its own defined taste, and this pandemic is not any different. One thing about fashion is that it tends to only absorb sustainable trends, hence if the season doesn’t call for that change, then it might as well not last one more minute. Asides luxury fashion, people like the idea of getting value out of everything, and so they would rather pick a functional part of fashion, that still caters to the style, rather than the almighty vain option.

In the next few months, considering the fact that there would be a massive drop in social activities, fashion would have to adapt and make necessary changes in terms of trends. In light of this, most of the new collections would also include the ultimate COVID 19 kit, which would most likely always include a facial mask or some other way of keeping the face safe.

There would be a major disruption, and a lot of fashion-conscious individuals, are beginning to take a sneak peek into the future. Thought nothing far from the ordinary, creativity would still have an upper hand in the new trends to be expected, with the inclusion of the taste of those whose job would be outside the office, or better still, working from home.  Fashion and style post covid

Despite the heavy restrictions placed on a lot of activities, all over the world, people are finding their rhythm, making themselves happy regardless of the situation. It seems more like turning the disaster into a blessing which many have done, and right now, the nightmares are becoming a thing of the past, as a lot of people have found a way to incorporate the consciousness of the pandemic in their fashion statement.

Lucky enough, the gears needed to stay safe are not formerly obscure elements, they are items we have gotten used to behold, the only difference is that they will become celebrated items, and ultimately a norm that fits perfectly into the society’s fashion lookbook.

With regards to this, the face masks are the worst hit, especially in Nigeria, where a lot of fashionistas are making use of various fabrics to create a suitable mask that fits into both fashion and lifestyle use. Hence there is no cause for alarm, as forward thinkers are already paving the way for the next period of fashion wears to take, putting into consideration the new era that has just been welcomed. runway fashion
