Speaking on an episode of the Black Box podcast, the ‘Aboki’ crooner said smoking had become financially draining for him.
According to Ice Prince, he spent N340 million on weed from one dealer between 2020 and 2026.
“From 2020 to 2026, I have spent N340 million on weed from just one dealer alone, not to even mention my other dealers from Abuja, Ghana, Jos, and London. This is just one dealer, who lives close to me in Lagos,” he stated.
The rapper said he eventually quit smoking and alcohol as part of his weight loss and self discovery journey.
He also disclosed that he has been celibate for some time.
In recent months, Ice Prince has spoken publicly about the lifestyle changes behind his noticeable weight loss. In April, he shared that he stopped taking alcohol, soda, bread, noodles and energy drinks while adopting daily walks, exercise and healthier eating habits.
The rapper also said quitting smoking changed his life, describing himself as feeling “unchained and saved” after giving up cigarettes and alcohol.
Ice Prince previously admitted that learning how to roll cannabis was one of the things he wished he could “unlearn,” saying it contributed to his smoking habit.
