The adopted daughter of Nollywood actor, John Okafor, Jasmine has reported that she did not steal N55 million but N1 billion.
Recall that Jennysoul had reported the arrest of jasmine and her stepbrother, Daniel over the alleged fraud of N55 million donated to the Nollywood actor, Mr. John Okafor.
According to findings, Jasmine and Daniel had been married at the registry in Ikoyi and they had planned to elope with the money in question.
Claiming to be writing from the prison, Jasmine wrote;
“Wrong figures; it was actually 1 Billion Naira.”
The police explained that a sum of N50 million has been traced to the duo.
This was discovered due to a petition submitted by Diamond Waves Law on behalf of Mrs. Stella Maris, the wife of Mr. Ibu.
While asserting the amount that was stolen, Jasmine correctly informed the police that the actual amount stolen is N1 billion and not N55 million.
