The eye is the window to the world!! You cannot afford to joke or take your vision for granted..Your eye health is very crucial and needs to be taken care of regularly.

As you grow older you constantly need to check  your eye annually or Bi annually depending on the extent of the eye. Regular eye check up can help in the early detection of vision problems like Cataracts and Glaucoma as well as age related diseases like macular degeneration, which are the leading causes of blindness.

Your eye health is paramount and must always be supported with Antioxidants that help to maintain eye health. Regular eye examinations helps to detect eye problems like Glaucoma that have no cure.

Even young children can benefit from eye check ups as it can help detect eye defects like short and near sightednes and treatments available.

1. An Opthamologist– This is a medical  doctor who specializes in eye care and provides and treats general eye issues and performs surgery

2. Optometrist– This is an eye doctor who specializes in general eye care and treat the most common eye diseases but does perform eye surgery.

Today is World Sight Day. Take time out and take care of your eye. It will do you a whole lot of good.

    It is estimated that 4.25 million adults aged ≥40 years have moderate to severe visual impairment or blindness (<20/63 in the better eye). conclusions. There is a high prevalence of blindness and severe visual impairment among those aged≥ 40 years in Nigeria.
    That is why it is paramount to take this advantage laid on a platter and get your eyes checked
