When it comes to a public proposal, some get lucky, while some are left utterly embarrassed and bewildered by rejection from their partner. It is a truly awkward moment to be rejected by someone you hope to spend the rest of your life with, and worse still, right in the front of friends and strangers. Is there a greater higher level of humiliation? name it, I’ll wait.
Meanwhile, as you know, the internet never forgets. It could have happened just yesterday or many years ago, the evidence is still very much relevant in videos and clips. Just in case you are not sure about your public proposal deals, here are videos to help you make up your mind.
Clip 1: The clip above shows is quite descriptive, and from the activities, you can tell that is a food arena. Guests are happily seated across from where the couple is standing, while the guy goes about his business of trying to make his partner his forever, and ever, *Wink*. Truth be told, the lady shouldn’t have waited to the end, only to break his heart.
Who goes on their knees in a public place right in front of their partner just for fun? Who? Well, apparently, she thoughts he was only in his feelings, till she eventually saw the ring, and then decided to storm. You can do better lady, you surely can.
Clip 2: How do you date someone, and end up saying no in a public proposal? How does it work? Anyway, Lady here apparently holds her feeling in high esteem, and as such rejects the proposal of this body-positive man. The highlight of the proposal was the point she started to leave without dropping the flowers. Hold up, do you need souvenirs for breaking a man’s heart? Heartbreaking yeah, she probably didn’t rate the guy. Just saying!
Clip 3: This definitely beats all other epic proposal fails in its category. It is bad enough that the proposal has been rejected, but the level of bitterness has remained unrivaled. To be honest, this would have probably been a toxic marriage, and a disaster waiting to happen, so all is well that ends well, (It didn’t actually end well though).
No one has the justification on whether or not the guy deserved what he got in the end, but the moral lesson is don’t hit more than you blow. Hehe!
The bottom line still remains communication, if this had been factored in all along in each of these scenarios, they would have saved each other a lifetime of public embarrassment and lifelong emotional scars.
What do you think?
