Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has officially confirmed that she and her husband, Bobby Maris, have gone their separate ways, ending weeks of speculation surrounding the state of their marriage.
The actress made the announcement through a series of emotional posts shared on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, revealing that she had reached her limit in the relationship.
Her confirmation comes just days after fans noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling widespread rumours that their marriage was in trouble.
In one of her Instagram Story posts, Uche expressed frustration over the public’s reaction to women who choose to walk away from unhappy marriages.
According to the actress, society often accepts it when men become tired of marriage but criticises women who make the same decision.

“Delivered.”
Although he did not explain what he meant, many social media users interpreted the message as a response to the separation announcement.
Neither Uche nor Bobby has provided additional details regarding the circumstances that led to their split.

The couple publicly announced their wedding the following day, receiving congratulatory messages from colleagues, friends, and fans across the entertainment industry.

Throughout their relationship, Uche frequently shared photos and videos of their family life, celebrating birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions with her followers.
The marriage to Bobby Maris was not Uche Ogbodo’s first.

However, that marriage ended less than a year later.
The former couple have a daughter together, making Uche a mother of three children.

Several users also urged the public to avoid assigning blame, noting that the full circumstances surrounding the separation remain private.
At the time of publication, neither Uche Ogbodo nor Bobby Maris has publicly disclosed the exact reasons behind their separation.
Both have limited their public comments to the cryptic Instagram posts shared on Wednesday.
As fans continue to react, many will be watching closely to see whether either of them chooses to provide further clarification in the coming days.
For now, the actress’s announcement marks the official confirmation that their marriage has come to an end.
