The veteran Nigerian actor, Chiwetalu Agu, was captured on video taking a leisurely stroll with his family in a rare moment. Accompanied by his wife and son, they ventured out for an evening walk, which was documented on camera.
In the footage, the esteemed actor is seen using a walking stick and walking with a slight limp. His wife tenderly holds his hand, offering support as they move along. Chiwetalu Agu dons a jalabia garment with the words “Rising Sun” crafted on the front, believed to be a subtle nod to the Biafra struggle.
This outing evokes memories of the actor’s past encounters with authority. Years prior, he faced arrest by Nigerian soldiers for donning attire resembling the Biafran flag, featuring a prominent rising sun emblem. Despite the controversy, he continues to subtly express his political views.
During their walk, Chiwetalu Agu lamented the enduring lack of basic amenities afflicting Nigerians, shedding light on ongoing societal challenges.
