Nigerians are urging Pastor Paul Enenche to issue an apology to a member of his church whom he publicly embarrassed and accused of dishonesty.
The incident occurred when the member took to the pulpit to share her testimony on Sunday, April 14, after successfully graduating with a “Bachelor of Law” degree from the National Open University of Nigeria on Saturday, April 13.
During her testimony, Pastor Enenche interrupted her, and questioned her credentials, stating that she did not sound like a Law graduate based on her speech.
Furthermore, he asserted that there is no such degree as a “Bachelor of Law” and instructed her to step down from the pulpit.
Following the incident, Nigerians conducted their own investigation and discovered evidence on the woman’s Facebook page, including photos of her graduation from the National Open University, Abuja.
This evidence contradicts Pastor Enenche’s accusations and supports the woman’s testimony.
As a result, Nigerians are calling for Pastor Paul Enenche to publicly apologize to the woman for his actions and to acknowledge her genuine accomplishment.
