Salifu Joel Oyibo bows to Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi State.
During the official swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed deputy governor of Kogi State, Salifu Joel Oyibo on Saturday January 28th, respectfully bowed to the former governor, Yahaya Bello.

The oath was administered by the Chief Judge of Kogi State, Justice Joshiah Majebi.
Recall that Salifu and Governor Usman Ododo emerged victorious in the governorship election that was conducted in November, 2023.
After the adminstration of the oath, Salifu and his wife extended their greeting to the former governor of Kogi State and his wife. While displaying humility and respect, Salifu and his wife bowed cordially to greet Yahaya and his wife.
Ododo and Salifu had had their differences in terms of ministerial appointments. One of the shocking appointment by Ododo was that of Ali Bello as Chief of Staff, considering the discusiion of an allegedly stolen N3 billion fraud.
