Nigerian content creator and skitmaker Kemi Ikuseedun, popularly known as Mummy Wa, has revealed the reason she remains single despite approaching the age of 30.
The actress and comedian disclosed that her biggest challenge in finding love is her tendency to develop feelings for fictional characters rather than real-life men. According to her, she often becomes emotionally attached to characters she watches in movies and television series, making it difficult for her to connect romantically with people in real life.
Speaking during a video broadcast, Mummy Wa explained that this habit has affected her relationships and contributed significantly to her current single status.

According to the skitmaker, she has not yet found a real man who matches the qualities she admires in the fictional characters she frequently falls in love with.
She noted that many women experience similar feelings, especially after watching romantic movies and television dramas featuring idealized male characters.
“The reason why I am still single is because I went to go and fall in love with a fictional character,” she said.
Mummy Wa added that while these characters often appear perfect on screen, the reality is that they do not exist outside the stories where they are portrayed.
She humorously questioned where women who fall for fictional characters would ever find such men in real life.
The content creator specifically mentioned South Korean actor Lee Min-ho, revealing that she has long admired him because of his role in the popular television drama Boys Over Flowers.
According to her, she has spent years waiting for someone like the character he portrayed in the series.
“I am almost 30, and I am still waiting for Lee Min Ho,” she said jokingly.
She also acknowledged that meeting the actor in real life would likely be different from seeing him play a romantic role on television.
“What if I meet Lee Min Ho in real life and he is not the same as the person in Boys Over Flowers?” she asked.
Her comments have generated reactions on social media, with many fans agreeing that fictional characters often create unrealistic expectations about relationships.
Others shared similar experiences, saying that romantic films and television shows can sometimes influence how people view potential partners.
Mummy Wa has become one of Nigeria’s most recognizable online comedians through her role in the popular comedy series created by Mr Macaroni. Her portrayal of the character “Mummy Wa” helped establish her as a household name in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
Over the years, she has built a strong fan base through comedy skits, acting projects, and social media content.
Despite her humorous explanation, many fans viewed her comments as a reminder that real-life relationships often differ from the idealized romances portrayed in movies and television dramas.
