Daniel Regha, a Twitter critic, has harshly criticized singer Portable for purportedly humiliating his wife in public during her birthday celebration.
Portable has been consistently vocal in his criticism of his wife and other women in his life for several months, leading observers, including Regha and a substantial portion of online critics, to become disenchanted.
The most notable incident occurred when Portable reacted angrily to his wife’s birthday message, in which she referred to herself as the “Queen of Herself.” Portable responded with a stern rebuke on social media, emphasizing the importance of respect and cautioning her against the influence of trolls.
During a live Instagram broadcast, he even threatened to evict her from their shared home unless she changed the controversial caption. He also hinted that her friends might be influencing the discord, suggesting they were attempting to sow discord between them.
In response, Regha took to X to express his disapproval of Portable’s notions. He stressed that respect is a consequence of one’s actions rather than an entitlement. While acknowledging that the dynamics behind closed doors are unknown, Daniel Regha pointed out that Portable’s online behavior is unbecoming, seemingly driven by a need for validation and a sense of insecurity.
He urged those in Portable’s inner circle to counsel him on his behavior, emphasizing the importance of understanding that the desire for constant attention can be detrimental. Respect, Regha argued, is earned through character and deeds.
In Daniel Regha’s words:
“Portable is yet to realize that he mustn’t be the center of attention all the time, & respect is earned not given. No one knows what happens behind the scenes/cameras, but he’s been doing the most which isn’t a good look. Him constantly dragging him partners online reeks of low self-esteem, almost like he craves their validation. Someone should talk to him”.
