Yesterday, March 21, the people of Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) in Rivers State joyously celebrated their annual fishing festival.
The event unfolded at the Oboburu Community ponds, drawing community members in large numbers to engage in the traditional activity of fishing for Mud Fish.
With enthusiasm and skill, they managed to catch hundreds of Mud Fish, which were then gathered into heaps on the ground and distributed among the members of Ogba Land. Following the fruitful festival, residents took to social media, to share photos of the bountiful fish they received.
