The Enugu State Government is currently demolishing structures at Our Saviour Institute of Science, Agriculture and Technology (OSISATECH) Polytechnic and College of Education, along with other areas, as part of a broader initiative to enforce city planning regulations and address illegal developments.
The Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority (ECTDA) is leading the demolitions, which have sparked significant public outcry.
The school is set to relocate to its permanent site in Owo, while a park and flyover will be constructed at the demolished location in Holy Ghost.
This action comes despite a Federal High Court in Enugu ordering the state government to halt the demolition of OSISATECH Polytechnic and College of Education for the proposed Enugu Central Station.
