Singer Davido has weighed in on the recent developments surrounding socialite Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, who was granted a N10 million bail after pleading not guilty to alleged Naira abuse charges.
Cubana Chief Priest appeared before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday, arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on three counts related to Naira abuse.
Expressing gratitude to his friends and fans for their support, Cubana Chief Priest took to Instagram to share his appreciation, acknowledging the humbling experience of the trial and affirming his resilience in the face of adversity.
In response to Cubana Chief Priest’s post, Davido chimed in with a supportive comment, expressing disbelief at the notion of his friend being incarcerated.
Davido emphasized his sentiment by stating his inability to fathom being apart from Cubana Chief Priest for an extended period, asserting, “I no go see u for 6 months ke… Never.”
