He shared photos from the ceremony on his Instagram page on Monday, showing the moment the traditional cap representing his new title was placed on his head.
In the post, he wrote, “My people, I present to you Chief Chinedu Ikedieze MFR, IHIE 1 of ELUOMA UZUAKOLI AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY ABIA STATE ”
“IHIE 1 of Eluoma Uzuakoli” is an honorary traditional title from the Eluoma Uzuakoli autonomous community in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
Chinedu Ikedieze, widely known for his roles in Nigerian films alongside Osita Iheme, has featured in more than 150 movies over two decades in the industry.
He was born on 12 December 1977 in Abia State and rose to fame after his breakout role in the 2002 film Aki na Ukwa.
