Update on the case between photographer Busola Dakolo and the senior pastor of the commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo has come to what people might term an unwholesome drama.

The suit filed by Busola Dakolo against pastor Fatoyinbo was dismissed by a Federal High Court sitting in Bwari Abuja Nigeria

Busola wife of singer Timi Dakolo had last year September filed a Suit against the Pastor accusing him of Rape, she also reiterated how this alleged action of the pastor and his flagrant denial was affecting her marital sex life.

She wrote to him demanding an apology for his actions of which Fatoyinbo’s lawyer Mr Alex Iziyon(SAN) described the suit as Frivolous.

Fatoyinbo filed an objection and an affidavit at the court stressing that Busola Dakolo’s statement were false and ludicrous. He pointed out that her statement were false and out to embarass and ridicule him.

He argued that from inception, Busola sought the attention of the media and press to get them biased and ruin his image.

Justice Oathman. A Musa in his Judgement sited that “the matter amounted to injustice and an abuse of judicial process as the case was empty, and purely sentimental adding that the case was aimed more at cruelty than obtaining justice”

The court also awarded fine of N1,000,000 against Busola Dakolo and stated that the fine would have been ten times that amount as the court’s time was wasted.

Various reactions have come under this case which was filed by Busola Dakola who claimed that the COZA pastor raped her 20years ago when she was 16years in Ilorin Nigeria.

Reactions from social media urged women to always report early cases of rape and get it documented.
