Toke Makinwa, a prominent media personality, has taken to social media to express her frustration with the economic challenges facing the country.

The actress revealed her exhaustion with the burden of being an independent woman.

Toke, who recently returned from an overseas trip, shared her dismay upon discovering fuel shortages and increased electricity tariffs upon her arrival at home. Sharing her sadness, she wrote: “Yoooo, landed in Lagos to all this madness, petrol scarcity, electricity tariff hike, diesel prices not smiling. What is all these? Independent woman don taya [tire] o.”
