A compelling video has surfaced, depicting the heart-wrenching ordeal of a man who returned from Canada only to discover that his wife had used the funds he sent to her to build a mud house.
Identified as Ongiri, the man expressed his profound dismay upon finding his house incomplete despite sending a significant sum for its construction while he was abroad.
Ongiri revealed on the Brighton Thee PL YouTube channel that he had entrusted his wife with approximately KSh 150k (equivalent to N1,773,513) for specific purposes like purchasing windows. However, upon his return, he was stunned to find that the intended construction had not materialized.
Expressing his disillusionment, Ongiri lamented his misplaced trust in his wife, whom he had considered reliable. “I truly thought I could trust her and that she was the one for me. I didn’t know she could do this,” he said, visibly heartbroken.

Despite his attempts to reach his wife for clarification, Ongiri’s calls and messages went unanswered. Faced with mounting frustration, he confronted his wife in a desperate bid to seek accountability. During the interview, it was disclosed that the couple shares one child.
In a subsequent video, the wife admitted to deceiving her husband about the house construction progress, confessing that the photos she had sent were actually from a neighbour. “But you should forgive me. I am your wife,” she pleaded as Ongiri broke down in tears, grappling with the betrayal of trust and deceit.
