Super Eagles player, Victor Osimhen remains in Abidjan due to severe abdominal pains while his team flies to South Africa for the head-to-head game on Wednesday, 7th February 2024 with South Africa.
The Nigerian Super Eagles are expected to fly from Abidjan to Stade de la Paix in Bouake on Monday night, however, Raji Babatunde reported to the Peoples Gazette that Victor Osimhen will not be flying with the team to South Africa due to the situation of his abdominal discomfort.
However, if he recovers fully by Tuesday morning, he will join the team in Stade de la Paix in Bouake, but currently, he is being monitored by the medical team in Abidjan where they had sojourned since the beginning of the tournament.
