Social media influencer, Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan has spoken about the controversy between Mr. Ibu’s wife, his sons and adopted daughter, Jasmine and the monetary donations made to the actor by the public.
Recently, news has it that Stella (Mr. Ibu’s wife) has arrested Jasmine (Mr. Ibu’s adopted daughter) and Mr. Ibu’s sons for stealing N300 million from the money donated to the treatment of the actor’s health.
Reports has it that Jasmine and Mr. Ibu’s two sons were detained at the Alagbon station in Lagos for an allegation of fraud and embezzlement of funds raised to treat Mr. Ibu’s health.
Recall that Jennysoul has reported that Stella had asked that a new house be bought for her from the money raised, which was denied and countered by Jasmine.
Speaking on the case, VeryDarkMan who has visited the actor in the hospital and has been involved in the actor’s health revival, and even went as far as using his platforms to campaign for financial donations to the actor, is now reviewing the extent of the controversy in the actor’s home.
VeryDarkMan purported that lots of money has been raised to finance Mr. Ibu’s health, hence no one should donate money for that course anymore.
He also pointed that for Jasmine to extract N300 million from the donated money to buy a house, it means there is more than enough money to treat any sickness the actor is facing.
He expressed his surprise at the huge amount of money that has been raised by the public in such a short time, also he was shocked at the family for keeping this information from the public which indicates that they want to continue using the actor’s health condition to attract more donations from the public.
He made a guess that for N300 million to be moved from the account, it means that the money received from donation is close to half a billion. Hence, he advises the public to cease from donating more money to Mr. Ibu and also warns the public to be careful of any call for donation.
