Nigerian artist, Kelechi Austin Miles, popularly known as Tekno, has dismissed claims suggesting that he received N1 billion in royalties for his collaboration with Kizz Daniel on the song “Buga”.
Rumors circulating on the microblogging site X alleged that Kizz Daniel had paid Tekno royalties totaling over N1 billion for their joint project. According to the rumor, Kizz Daniel purportedly provided Tekno with 50% of all revenue generated from the song.
Tekno swiftly responded to these claims, refuting them and expressing his disdain for the individual who spread the false information. Taking to his X handle, he wrote:
“His money didn’t even reach.To anyone spreading that fake interview, may lightning strike your mother. #TalkingTrash.”
