The American Host Steve Harvey the Invest Fest 2023 in Atlanta has addressed the internet rumour about his wife Marjorie Bridges.
Days ago, the internet buzzed with news of Marjorie Bridges cheating on Steve Harvey with her bodyguard.
The 66 years old TV Host was enraged when he heard that his wife Marjorie had an affair with their bodyguard who is also their personal chef. Steve Harvey was seen speaking on stage in front of some audience. He said
“Before I get started, just let me say, I’m fine. Marjorie’s fine.”
“I don’t know what y’all doing, but find something else to do cause we fine. Lord have mercy. Man, ‘I ain’t got no time for rumours and gossip. God’s been good to me, I’m still shining.’
The rumour originated on X last week and has gained a wide range of attention due to the persons involved in the story.
The couple first crossed paths 17 years ago but didn’t marry until 2007. When they married, Steve adopted three of Marjorie’s children from her previous marriage (Lori, Morgan and Jason)
Although Steve was also formerly married to Marica Harvey (1981-1994) and Mary Shackelford (1996-2005) and had 4 children from both women.
Over time, Steve has always boosted of how Marjorie has changed the way he existed. He considers his relationship with Marjorie as a very healthy one hence his deep affection for her.
He said:
‘I’d never been in a healthy adult relationship. I’d never been loyal, I’d never been fully respected.’
Marjorie has been able to carry their blended family like she was born for it. Speaking to People in 2016, she’d said ”When you’re dealing with a blended family, everyone is coming from a place of brokenness.”
‘We knew this was right. But I just told them, “Everyone is included. Everyone has access to their parents. Whatever you didn’t have before, don’t let that interfere with what you can have now.” Now, we’re Mom and Dad to everybody’.
Over time, their large family has continued to increase and the couple has seven grandchildren.
