Frank Igho Okpokoro Vaughan, a distinguished filmmaker and former Vice President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), has passed away.
Vaughan, originally from Delta State, succumbed to a prolonged illness on Tuesday, April 2.
Throughout his career, Vaughan played a pivotal role in shaping the Nigerian movie industry and served as a mentor to aspiring filmmakers.
With extensive experience as a TV producer and director, he was also known for his insightful analysis of current affairs and politics.
In his final years, Vaughan, who was in his 1960s, dedicated himself to pastoral duties as a member of Dominion City Church in Asaba, Delta State.
His legacy in both the film industry and the community will be remembered fondly by all those he influenced and inspired.
