Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide, has lauded Senior Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Center for apologizing to Miss Vera Anyim.
Anyim was accused by Enenche of falsehood when she testified about obtaining a BSc in law during a live service at Dunamis.
A video circulating on social media captured the pastor interrupting her testimony, alleging she lied about her academic credentials.
Following widespread reactions from concerned Nigerians urging the pastor to apologize, the church issued a statement, clarifying that the incident was not intentional.
Reno commended pastor Paul Enenche for his humility in acknowledging his mistake and seeking reconciliation with Anyim. He praised the pastor’s apology, describing it as a demonstration of Christlike character and a teachable moment.
Omokri expressed his joy that Anyim has been vindicated as a genuine law graduate and extended prayers for both her and Pastor Enenche, wishing them fulfillment in their endeavors.
