The Delta State Police Command has detained over 100 gay suspects who were carrying out a wedding ceremony in a hotel in Delta State on Tuesday.
The state police announced that he will post the suspects soon on his X account.
The police command also intends to parade the aforementioned suspects by going live on Facebook.
According to reports, since the anti-gay law was signed in 2014, security personnel have caught and paraded people who are suspected to be hormosexuals
Lots of gay suspects have been caught since the inception of the ant-gay law. In Lagos, Okota region, the police arrested 10 gay suspects in a brothel.
Then in 2018 the state police paraded 57 men for alleged homosexual activities at the Kelly Ann hotel in Egbeda and 8 in Isolo, Lagos.
According to the law, whoever is found guilty of having sex with someone of the same sex will be sentenced to 14 years in prison under the anti-gay law of 2014.
