Pelumi Nubi has been appointed as the latest face of tourism in Lagos
In recognition of her bold and courageous solo road trip from London to Lagos, Pelumi Nubi has been honored with the prestigious title of Lagos State tourism ambassador.
In a gracious ceremony hosted by the Lagos State government, Governor Babajide Sanwoolu presented Pelumi with the keys to a sleek new car and bestowed upon her a luxurious home in Lagos.
Setting off from London on January 30th, Pelumi embarked on an extraordinary journey that culminated in her triumphant arrival in Lagos on April 7th.
Overflowing with excitement, Pelumi took to her Instagram page to share the exhilarating news, stating, “Lagos, my beloved city, I am thrilled to introduce myself as the newest Brand Ambassador for tourism in Lagos State.
I am immensely grateful to His Excellency, Governor Jide Sanwoolu, for the warm reception and generous gifts, including full sponsorship of my London to Lagos journey, a custom-car with my personalized plate number (NUBI-9JA), and a stunning new home in Lagos.”
