The Osun State Police Command has arrested eleven suspects over an alleged armed robbery.
According to a briefing by the Commissioner of Police, Hope Okafor, the suspects were arrested in various operations.
The suspects arrested include:
Seyi Ojo male-33 years
Kamorudeen Quadri male-32 years
Olalekan Musiliu male-35 years
Ayodeji Kehinde male-39 years
Ogbemudia Sunday male-48 years Fatai Toheeb male-22 years
David Adebayo, male-43 years
David Aderemi, male-30 years.
She also revealed that two suspects had sustained injuries and are hospitalised due to exchange of gunshot between them and the police.
In her continual report of the arrest, she informed the public that the suspects has confessed to their crimes, also some exhibits were recovered from the suspects which include, phones, gold chains, Toyota Corolla, bags of dry cocoa beans, motorcycle etc.
She narrated that the eleven suspects have been charged to court. She also said:
“The Police Command is using this medium to inform the general public that those whose properties are among the recovered exhibits should come with necessary documents to prove ownership at Police Headquarters, Ring-Road, Osogbo, Osun State.”
