Nigerian singer and rapper, Oladips was confirmed dead for three days by his aide Abdul Rasheed Opeyemi.
Opeyemi actually confirmed that Oladips was dead for three days before he returned back to life.
Recall that Jennysoul had reported the death of Oladips on 15th November 2023 and later as news got clearer, Jennysoul also reported on 23rd November that the singer has resurfaced online.
The first news was reported by his aide, it said;
“We are saddened to inform the general public that Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, aka Oladips, passed away yesterday, November 14, Tuesday evening, at exactly 10:14 pm. We are still in shock as we speak!
“For over two years, he has kept his battles within himself; his body is now with his family. The family asked that we respect their privacy in this trying time. May God give us all the fortitude to bear this great loss. (amen),” read a statement from his management.
In an interview with Tope Alabi, on Monday 4th December 2023, Abdulrasheed narrated that the rapper’s record label management, Disciples Music, had informed the public of Oladips’s death without further confirmation of life, but he confirmed that the artiste had passed out for three days before he returned to life.
He said,
“I don’t know how to say this. It was a misinterpretation by the manager who has access to Oladips’ page. We all thought he was dead because he was not breathing until the third day when he was revived. By then, the manager had already shared the story.
“Even I could not reach him until the third day.”
He also disclosed that the management who shared the news of Oladips’s demise had been sacked and further information will be given in lieu of the commotion caused by the fake news of the singer’s dead.
