The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) plan to resume its orientation programme for new corp members in Borno state, after it has been suspended for 13 years due to the Boko Haram insurgency.
According to (NAN) News Agency of Nigeria, corp members deployed to the state were made to observe their orientation process in Katsina state for several years.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Lawal Yusufu assured the newsmen at the ad-hoc orientation camp located in the Arabic Teachers College, Maiduguri on Monday that the next orientation will hold in the state.
Mr. Lawal Yusufu, who spoke after assessing facilities at the camp mentioned that security agencies will work seemingly to provide security for the incoming NYSC members upon entry, exit and to other strategic places in the camp.
