A Nigerian lady tricked her friends into buying asoebi of N50k each and travelled out of the country with the money.
The lady in conversation pretended to be getting married and asked her friends to make payment of asoebi which according to reports is N50k from about 60 friends.
The tweet was started by an X user named @AkiMarlin, the tweet explained that the lady lied about being engaged and planned a wedding, which the friends were supportive of and contributed wholly to the asoebi of N50k and a hand fan of N10k respectively.
The tweet goes;
“A major wedding heist happened . This is so incredulous . So this lady sold Asoebi to about 60 of her friends for 50k each &hand fan 10k.
she gave bridal location at a hotel. Some of her friends came there &she wasn’t there. Long story short she flew to Canada next day,there was actually no wedding. She’s a popular vendor around IMSU”.
It appeared that the lady was not present at the wedding venue and it was also discovered that she had eloped with the money to Canada.
