Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile a.k.a Portable, a controversial Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter has accused his late colleague, Mohbad of being a traitor.
According to him, Mohbad had accused the Marlian label of not showing him the love and support he expected and had gone ahead to associate with some Marlian label’s adversaries.
Portable did not for sure mention any of the adversaries of the Marlian label. But then he said singer Mohbad was killed by the Marlian adversaries so the blame could be dumbed on Naira Marley.
In a video posted by Portable who used his native dialect Yoruba to speak, the translation reads:
“Mohbad was k!lled because he was a betrayer. We help these young artistes and make them blow but they repay us with evil. After everything Marlian music did for Mohbad, he later said they didn’t love him. He left the label and went to associate with the enemies of Naira Marley. Those ones then k!lled him to implicate Naira. God will save Naira from this mess because he only helped MohBad out of a good heart but he betrayed him”
He expressed that Naira Marley’s support for Mohbad was real and unselfish, making Mohbad’s alleged betrayal even more painful for the Marlian boss.
