Legendary boxer Mike Tyson has spoken out following a recent medical scare that occurred just weeks before his highly anticipated match against Jake Paul.
The 57-year-old experienced nausea and dizziness on a flight, prompting airline staff to seek medical assistance from passengers. After the plane landed in Los Angeles, paramedics boarded to treat Tyson.
The health incident cast doubt over his July 20 fight, but Tyson reassured fans on social media, stating, “Now feeling 100% even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul.”

Tyson’s representatives had previously assured the public that the former heavyweight champion was “doing great” after experiencing “an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing.”
They expressed gratitude for the medical personnel who assisted him, telling the New York Post, “He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”
