The Rivers State Police has arrested a man known as Bro. Joe for allegedly taking and assaulting a young girl of 12 years.
According to reports, the 12year old girl was on an errand by her mother when she was abducted by Bro. Joe and his accomplices. The minor was kept in an uncompleted building for two nights where she was sexually molested.
In an interview with newsmen, the father of the victim, Anele Aleruchi, said the suspect with two other men had tied his daughter, blindfolded her and took her to an uncompleted building where they sexually assaulted her.
He said:
‘’Bro Joe met her on the road and deceived the little girl into following him. When the girl refused to follow him, the suspect carried the girl with two other men. They used clothes to tie her face and took her to an uncompleted building and kept her for two days.
When the girl came out after two days, we asked her what happened? She said Bro Joe took her to an uncompleted building with two other men.
She said when they took her to the uncompleted building, Bro Joe touched her private parts and also put his manhood in her private parts several times.”
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Grace Iringe-Koko, said the suspect had been arrested and transferred to the State CID where he will face the consequences of his actions.
