Kenyan President William Ruto has announced that visitors to Kenya from any country in the world will no longer need a visa.
The government has introduced a digital platform for obtaining travel authorization in advance, thereby removing visa application method. According to the President, this will take effect from January 2024.
One of his goal for eliminating visa method is to boost trade among East African Community nations. Aside from this, he also encouraged the tropical forest zones of Africa to protect their forest for good climatic condition and benefits.
At the 60th Independent celebration of the country, Ruto announced his need make Kenya a land of peace with good economic growth and also accessible to visitors who will be able to come into through the digital application he had made.
