Ogun State government has expressed that the Kajola Dry Port has the capacity to to produce at least 40,000 job opportunities when it kicks fully into operation.
In a statement disclosed on Thursday by the Commissioner for Transportation, Olugbenga Dairo, the Commissioner said that the Kajola Dry Port will not only create jobs, but also reduce transportation cost for users , attract investments in infrastructure and regional development projects, and improve internal revenue acquisition for the state.
Dairo also mentioned Kajola Dry Port will play an integral role in Ogun State’s Multimodal Transportation Master Plan and also, the development of the Kajola airport has reached an advanced stage and that Ogun State is determined to ensure investment and bring business development to the nation.
