David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, a known Nigerian artiste has reacted to the electoral tribunal’s verdict that was passed on Wednesday 6th September 2023 and also outlined how his perception of how elections are won in Nigeria.
At the petition hearing, all the cases agsisn the ruling party and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu were dismissed, while many reactions have greeted the news, Davido turned to his X page to express his thoughts.
According to the artiste, winning elections in Nigeria is all about rugged-ity, and the most rugged usually wins.
He wrote … “Nigeria Election nah by who rugged pass.”
His comment section flooded with different talks as some found it unworthy of him to say something like that and others tend to agree with his perception of how elections are won in the country.
One comment asked if Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State also won through ruggedness and Davido noted that there had been rugged men on his uncle’s side.
