Clarifying the over spread rumour about her pregnancy and Future being the father, Tems released a statement to her fans.
Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems has stated that she has never met the American rapper Future. In 2023 Tems performed in the hitmaker “U & Me” with a protruding stomach during the Burberry Fashion show in London, hence, fans assumed that she was pregnant.
Speculated rumours has it that the bump belonged to Future, when Tems won her first Grammy Award for the song “Wait for you”.
Disputing the rumour, Tems affirmed that she has not met Future in her life, but just that she had a good load of dinner that day hence her protruded stomach.
With further explanation during a session with Beat 99.9 FM, she expressed that she had no idea the rumour was real until she started receiving death threats.
Tems said; “Of all the people in the world, Future? I’ve never even met him in my life.”
