All occupants of the Hotel in Tenerife, where the doctor who was tested positive for coronavirus lodged were not allowed to leave the hotel. Hundreds of Staff and guests were restricted to the Hotel but were allowed to leave their rooms.
Just recently, a plane carrying more than 130 passengers and crew from Tehran to Istanbul was diverted to the Turkish capital, Ankara because of a suspected case of Coronavirus on board. Turkish health minister said all passengers and crew will be quarantined for 14days.
In south Korea for instance, an employee of the deputy mayor Daegu’s office has contracted the virus.Hundreds of civil servant workers are now forced to work from home. Daegu is the city that is impacted the most with coronavirus.
Americans have been told to brace up for more outbreak of the Coronavirus as the disease has been spreading. America has recorded about 57 cases.
Messonnier, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, outlined what an epidemic that could mean for schools and businesses in America
She said schools should consider plans to divide students into smaller groups, or use “internet-based tele-schooling,” according to CNBC.
They also pointed out that for businesses person to person interaction could be limited to video or telephone conferences.
More than 80,000 cases of the Coronavirus also called Covid-19 respiratory disease has been reported worldwide since it emerged late last year. About 2,700 patients have died – the vast majority in China.
