The former minister of finance in Nigeria,Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala earlier today Friday announced the death of her Father Professor Chukuka Okonjo the Obi of ogwashi-Uku kingdom in Aniocha South Local government area of Delta State at the age of 91.
The former minister through her Media adviser announced that her father died in Lagos shortly after a trip to the United States.
The late Monarch who was a professor of Mathematics ascended the throne in 2007 till his death. However Ifechukwude Chukuka Okonjo who is next in line to his dad has ascended the throne of the ogwashi-uku Kingdom.
Ifechukwude Chukuka Okonjo,the new monarch is a financial Consultant and CEO of Chevy Chase Consulting. He obtained two degrees in Economics and History from the University of Maryland.college park and an MBA from the University of Edinburgh,Scotland.
