A video circulating on social media shows crossdressers in Ikorodu protesting for the release of popular internet personality Bobrisky, who was recently sentenced to six months in prison for Naira abuse.
The Federal High Court in Lagos handed down the sentence after Bobrisky pleaded guilty to the charges.
In the video, the crossdressers are seen carrying placards with messages such as “Free Bobrisky” and “Free Mummy of Lagos,” as they demand his release from the Ikoyi correctional centre.
The protest highlights the support Bobrisky has within the community, with many advocating for his immediate release.
