In a recent interview with the Hausa service of the Voice of America in Abuja, former Nigerian Vice-President Atiku Abubakar reaffirmed his unwavering determination to continue running for the presidency.
Atiku declared that as long as he remains in good health, he will persist in his quest for Nigeria’s highest office.
When questioned about his plans for future elections, Atiku confidently stated that he would continue to participate.
He likened his political journey to that of former US President Abraham Lincoln, who faced numerous defeats before eventually securing the presidency.
Atiku emphasized that his success in future elections would depend on more than his personal efforts.
He highlighted the necessity for strong support and collaboration with other political parties, especially considering the current state of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
