The African Action Congress’ (ACC) Presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has alleged that the family of the former governor of Ondo State, (Late Rotimi Akeredolu) are filled with greed.
Recall that Jennysoul has reported the passing away of Rotimi Akeredolu on Wednesday.
During a recent broadcast, Sowore implied that Akeredolu’s wife and son took advantage of the late governor’s situation and vulnerability.
He said: “Akeredolu’s wife and son used the late governor’s vulnerable condition to act on their greed.
“Now we are finding out that Akeredolu didn’t die in Germany. They are all lying; he died in Germany.
Also, Sowore mentioned that the late Akeredolu did not follow the Constitution properly when he transferred power to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa during his first travel to Germany.
He also said: “The Constitution was not obeyed in transferring power to the deputy governor.
“A lot would have been resolved a year ago, as there was already available evidence that the governor was not likely to make it.”
He expressed that a lot would have been resolved as there was a sense of knowledge that the late governor will not make it. In addition, the human rights advocate disputed the claims that the governor died in Germany.
