In less than 48 hours, Korra Obidi has been able to raise almost $50,000 through her GoFundMe campaign, aimed at covering her legal expenses for the impending court confrontation with her ex-husband, Justin Dean.
Recently, Justin secured image rights protection from Meta, resulting in the removal of all videos featuring their children from Korra’s Facebook page, which was also demonetized. In response, Korra appealed for financial assistance to contest this decision in court.
Meanwhile, Justin acknowledged reaching out to Facebook and reiterated his determination to keep their children off the platform. Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, Korra’s fundraising endeavors have been remarkably successful.
Within a short time frame, she has amassed $49,346 out of her $100,000 target, with contributions steadily increasing. Over 1.1k individuals have contributed to the cause, with the highest donation amounting to $1,000. Korra and her sister, Nancy Umeh, express profound gratitude to all donors for providing Korra with the means to fight for justice.
