Reports indicate that Anyim Vera, the woman who gained popularity after her testimony at Dunamis International Gospel Center (DIGC) and was accused of lying, has been arrested by the police.
Allegedly detained for a breach of etiquette, Vera’s arrest comes after her testimony at the Church Headquarters garnered widespread attention.
During her testimony, Senior Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche interrupted Vera due to her incorrect English, leading to questions about the validity of her claims.
Vera stated she obtained a BSc in law from the National Open University of Nigeria, prompting Enenche to dismiss her testimony as false. Despite later apologizing to Vera for any unintended humiliation, the incident sparked controversy.
Following the incident, Vera sought financial assistance from Nigerians to secure better accommodation, citing concerns about her current living situation’s safety and suitability. More reports on the arrest will be given as the it surfaces.
