Adekunle Gold, the Afrobeat artist formerly known as Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, has once again sparked conversation on Nigerian social media, this time by addressing music producer Samklef’s disrespectful treatment of his wife, Simi.
Samklef’s tweet about Simi, claiming he made her who she is today, and his statement that he could have dated her if they hadn’t worked together at the same church, Daystar, drew widespread criticism.
In response to Samklef’s derogatory remarks, Adekunle Gold emphasized that Simi owed him nothing. Deja’s father rebuked Samklef, pointing out that while he claimed to have created Simi and others, he had failed to make something of himself.
AG also recounted his own experience working with the beatmaker, alleging that Samklef defrauded him and a friend for whom he was supposed to produce a song. In a scathing tweet, Adekunle Gold condemned Samklef’s behavior, urging him to focus on bettering himself.
