The funeral arrangement details for the late veteran actor, Mr. Ibu, have surfaced online, capturing widespread attention.
Following his passing on March 2, 2024, after a prolonged health battle and leg amputation, Mr. Ibu, aged 63, will be laid to rest in his hometown of Amuri, Enugu State, as announced by his family on April 13.
A unique procession bridging Nollywood and Rangers International is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in honor of Mr. Ibu’s legacy. The following day will witness Mr. Ibu’s Candlelight Procession, a poignant tribute to his life and contributions to the entertainment industry.
On June 27, a Christian wake service will be held at Eziokwe Amuri, Enugu State, to commemorate Mr. Ibu’s life and offer solace to grieving family and friends. Subsequently, his body will be conveyed from the Eastern Nigerian Medical Center to his birthplace for interment, marking the final farewell to the beloved actor.
