The family of the late actor Junior Pope has spoken out in response to inquiries regarding his viral funeral posters, particularly addressing the absence of the designation ‘husband’.
It’s worth noting that the family recently disclosed the funeral arrangements, setting the burial date for May 17th, 2024, in his hometown of Enugu state.
Observant fans pointed out the omission of the term ‘husband’ on the obituary poster, sparking speculation.
Junior Pope was married to Jennifer Awele and they shared three children, despite rumors of divorce.
In an Instagram post, Junior’s family clarified that they had not authorized the circulating burial posters. They acknowledged the need for corrections and appealed to the public for assistance in removing the viral posters from circulation.
The Instagram post reads;
“Dear Junior Pope Fans, I wanted to bring to your attention that the current poster of our late brother Junior Pope displayed needs some corrections. The family has requested your assistance in bringing it down. They mentioned that the revised version will be released soon. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation”.
