Uba Sandra Chisom, a Nigerian woman, recently commemorated the one-year anniversary since the burial of her husband, Henry Ifeka, who tragically lost his life at the hands of kidnappers shortly after the birth of their twins.
Henry was abducted by suspected kidnappers last year, and despite his family’s efforts to pay the demanded ransom for his release, he was ultimately killed.
Taking to Facebook on April 13, 2024, the grieving mother of twin boys shared her ongoing struggles with pain, fear, grief, and battling depression in the past year.
She wrote:
“Today makes it exactly 1 year since I did my late husband’s funeral! This pain is too much for me to bear ! Every day and night I still cry ! Lord help me This life self am tired honestly,” she wrote.
“Those kidnappers that killed my husband, I want to ask you this question “what you did to me and my twin babies is it fair “? Why make me a widow and my children fatherless ? Honestly I have been living in grief, fear, pain, depression, lost, sad and am tired of living! Why subject myself and my children to this forever pain?
“It’s better I end it all Till your 7th generations, I curse everyone who made me a widow at this young age, non of you all will live above my late husband age nor hear the cry of a baby, this forever pain I go through everyday and depriving my children the joy of fatherhood not of your children will enjoy what fatherhood looks like.”
