The Nigerian police has fished out the lady who was seen in the Viral Twitter video flogging a little boy and throwing him into a kennel.
The lady by name Onyinye Mbadike 24, was seen in the viral video flogging a child and detaining him in what looked like a dog kennel. This led to public outcry and people calling for her arrest. The viral video was constantly shared with people calling for her identity and arrest.
She was finally arrested in Aguda by a team of detectives from the gender unit, Command head quarters ikeja. The commissioner of Police Lagos State CP Zubiaru Muazu ordered the gender unit of the force to identify and fish out the woman in the viral video and get her arrested for child abuse. He also ordered that the boy be rescued.
Investigations revealed that the boy is an orphan and was brought to Lagos by the Suspects mother in 2012 from Anambra State. The suspect admitted to flogging the boy as she claims he misbehaved and took alcohol and destroyed her side car mirror. Further investigations revealed that the suspect and the boy are cousins.She will be charged to court.
